Winter is on its way! Cold, strong winds from the north are forecast for this weekend, taking over from the beautiful quiet, sunny autumn days we’ve been having.
Although the garden still has a lot of colour from late flowering plants such as aster, hesperatha, nerines, hardy chrysanthemums, sedum, dahlias and more, many striking shrubs and trees are rapidly losing their pretty leaves.
So we have decided to make this week the last, and Thursday 25th October will be our final opening day of the year.
We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us this year, the weather made it a wonderful year to be outside (even if it did mean an awful lot of watering!) and we look forward to seeing you again next year.
We will post our opening times for 2019 early next spring.
